For the first time I sent something back to their repair department in early November (right before launch warranties ended). especially when I don't know many other's people's experiences.īut from my recent experience it worked out. I'm not blaming the reps who can only do what the big guys upstairs tell them to do of course. It's just bizarre that for such a successful company that is doing so well and making an absurd amount of money through the gaming division, their customer service is absolute garbage. Honestly I have yet to hear anyone in real life say that their customer service was great at any point, and I've riding with Sony since the PS1 era. I know there are some shortages due to the parts lacking, but how is this acceptable? So there is a chance that he sends his PS5 for several weeks again and gets back a broken product. They then say no, they are only able to replace consoles once they take a look at them. So he calls them again asking to replace the console because the first time they 'repaired' it, it broke down within days. A few days after using the PS5, it breaks down again. He sends it and gets it back several weeks later. His PS5 stopped working, so he called them and they said they need to repair it. ![]() ![]() A quick example of one of our close group of friends having issues.
